Learn outdoor skills at Carrollton Youth Council’s Survival Skills & S’mores, March 26, 5:30pm — 7:30pm at Hobbs Farm Park! Our community partners and Youth Council members lead hands-on learning stations exploring:
This event will outdoor learning stations led by our community partners and Youth Council members, including:
• Fire Department – Fire Safety and Fire Demonstration
• Police Department –K9 Demonstration (help if lost in the woods)
• Recreation Department – Tree and Plant Identification (safe plants to eat, poison ivy, etc.)
• Water Treatment Plant – Water Purification
• Youth Council – Rope Tying, Geocaching, Map Reading, Fishing and Tent Building, Door Prizes
Wrap up this free event with s’mores and time around the fire. Rain Date: April 2.
