Dottee Morton has been with the department since 1998, serving in many positions. She started out in 1994 part-time in the Athletic division and sports is her true love. At that time she had been working full-time at the Carrollton Elementary School since 1992. In 1998, she was asked to go full-time with the department and has never looked back. She now coordinates the Fitness programs, Martial Arts, Tumbling and Cheerleading, Concessions, Training of our volunteers and all Special Events. She is very heavily involved in our National, State and District Parks recreation associations. Dottee is originally from Pennsylvania and has lived all over the United States, but has called Carrollton home for more than 31 years. She is married to Richard Morton and has two children, Brandi and Kreig, who grew up in the recreation department. She and her husband coached their children throughout the years and now are coaching their grandchildren, Kambrie, Dylan and Kynleigh.
