Ali Williamson Trent earned a degree in Health and Physical Education with a certification in special education from the University Of West Georgia. Ali competed as a Carrollton Flexette for 7 years, retiring as a level 9 gymnast. She was a competitive cheerleader from 1998-2001 & was a member of the first cheer team to win a State Championship at Carrollton High School. Ali was also a member of the UWG co-ed cheerleading squad at the University of West Georgia from 2001-2003, where she won 2 back to back national titles. Currently, Ali is embarking on her 21st year of coaching gymnastics and has worked for many different competitive programs throughout the West Georgia, Atlanta area. 2011-2013 Ali directed her very own private gymnastics club, CCG Competitive Team, after successful years of programming, CCG closed its doors in August of 2013 and Ali was given the opportunity to work for the CPRD gymnastics program. Ali had the opportunity to teach as a clinician at the Georgia AAU State Clinic where she instructed coaches on compulsory progressions and drills, as well as volunteer at some of the largest gymnastics events in the southeast; such as, The Paws for a Cause Invitational and The Courtney Kupet’s Invitational hosted in Savannah, GA. Ali is married to Peter Trent, a New York native. Together they have a beautiful daughter, Maelyn Rose and a handsome son Lucas
