Peter Trent is an Oswego, N.Y.-native where he lived until attending Jefferson Community College in Watertown, N.Y., where he played NJCAA baseball & NYCBL Summer Baseball League.

In 2000, he was offered the opportunity to walk-on to the UWG baseball team as a first baseman so he made the move to Carrollton, Georgia.  Peter graduated from UWG in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management.

Since graduating, Peter has worked with many commendable sport organizations, such as, the former L.A. Dodgers minor league affiliate, Columbus Catfish, the Atlanta Braves, and the Atlanta Spirit, LLC which encompassed the Atlanta Hawks & the NHL’s previous hockey team, the Atlanta Thrashers.

Most recently, Peter was the Park Superintendent of Boundary Waters Sports Complex under the Douglas County Parks & Recreation Department.  He managed all maintenance operations, the baseball, football, and soccer youth sports associations, event permits and reservations, hiking and equestrian trails, disc golf courses, and all projects for the 500 acres of park land.

Most importantly, Peter is beyond excited to work in his own community for the City of Carrollton’s Recreation Department and help see kids evolve through our athletic programs, and share his love for sport in the community that has welcomed him and that he has come to love since moving to Carrollton.  Peter is married to CUES Teacher and former Trojan, Ali Williamson Trent. They have two children; Maelyn (8) and Lucas (5).
