Swim Lessons in Carrollton

Whether you’ve never been in the water or already swim like a fish, we’ve got you covered. Each swim lesson class level is offered at least once per season and semi-private swim lessons are also available. All of our classes and swim offerings are held at Lakeshore Center’s Natatorium.

Swim like a pro? Consider the Bluefins competitive swim team! Best of all, kids can start out by scheduling a tryout to see what they think before you make the investment in team fees.

Kids aren’t the only ones that get to have fun in the water. Parents, be sure to check out our adult water aerobics classes offered year-round. Or, take a dip during open swim.

Interested in being a lifeguard? We always need lifeguards on duty at Lakeshore Pool for swim lessons, water fitness classes and during the summer at Midtown Water Park. Being experienced and CPR certified is a plus, but we’re happy to provide training to those who aren’t. Contact us for more info.

Carrollton Bluefin Competitive Swimming

Our year round competitive swim team offers professional coaching and instruction for all ages and abilities. The goal of our team is to provide every member the opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success.

All of our coaches are members of USA Swimming and ASCA. We have access to the most comprehensive training and certification program for youth coaches in the US. We are a non-profit club under the Carrollton Parks and Recreation Department. We offer USA Swimming, GRPA State and Summer Swim League. All swimmers must be evaluated by one of our coaches for placement. Some may need further lessons to join.

Prerequisite: 50 free (two complete laps of pool) and a 25′ rudimentary backstroke without assistance or stopping. Evaluations will be held every two weeks in September and October on Wednesday evenings, 6pm-6:45pm, and will continue in consecutive months the first Wednesday of every month.

Monthly Bluefins fee: $85-125, depending on group

Annual USA fee: TBD

Summer League: TBD

All meets are separate from monthly fees.
