Named for an Olympic Gold Medal runner and Carroll County native, the Catherine Hardy Lavender Recreation Center serves a wide range of community needs. The complex features a gymnasium, classrooms, a computer lab, an adult health and wellness center, a spray park and is home to the Legends West Amphitheater

The CHL computer lab houses four computers and one central printer. There is also a small library. Play computer games and access the internet. Tutors are sometimes available to assist with filling out resumes and job applications.
